Thats what I have been saying. Any post Feb 2019 car will still have the 7 years free maintenance however once the car is plugged in at service the computer will tell the Technician as to whether to change the oil and filter or not.

Cars that I know are being told change note required.

Wait until you have your first service. You will be told. IMO you love your car , if they denied you the oil change pay for it and get it done.

    I wonder if you would clairify a few points on the extended warranty for a 2022 F8;

Is the pricing you quote for both years of the 2 year warranty or only 1 year? So in Florida the total price would be $5,995 x 2 or $11,990?
I ask because I just completed this transaction in Florida and the total cost was $12,800 for both years.
The transaction date was 3/31/23 in Florida so I am wondering if there was avery recent price increase.

    Wouldn’t I be eligible for the;
“Ferrari currently has a 2 for 1 pricing incentive when purchasing a CPO Ferrari , nothing is hidden, it’s truely 2 years for the price of 1.”

Also if I wanted to buy the 2nd extension I am assuming that it may cost more than $8,900 for 2 more years.

    Thanks for your help.

The difference in price (11,990 vs 12,800) is probably Florida/city sales tax (~7.0%) on top of the warranty price.

More than likely. But I am interested in the “2 for 1” special as well.

    Thanks for your response.

The first 2 year extension is $5995 for BOTH YEARS. Total plus tax. Giving you two years beyond the end of the factory warranty date for a total of 5. It is regulated in Florida at $5995. (Dealer cost of $4900)I paid $6900 because I bought from a NY dealer and they can mark it up and I negotiated.

The second extension after the first is more expensive of course and I do not know the cost but ya, it’s somewhere around 8900-11800 area.

It looks like I need to have a talk with my selling dealer.

In your example, how would the 2 for 1 special apply if at all.

Also, does the extended warranty go with the car in case of a trade or sale or can the remaining portion be transferred to the next new car or refunded?

Thanks very much for your clarification.

You will find that the 2 for 1 is only an incentive for non existing customers.

Chances of you getting 2 for 1 is ZERO

The extended warrantee will go with the car when sold,

    Apologies for not being clear.

I very recently bought a CPO F8 along with the 2 year extended warranty. Based on what I read here regarding the extended warranty retail cost in Florida and the 2 for 1 special incentive,(thanks to everyone) I think there may have been a few things missed.

    Thanks for your response.

Yep…. 2 Florida dealers I spoke with in person said the extra 2 years after the 1st 2 years is $11,800 plus inspection fee of $875 plus tax…so you’d be at $13,562 for 2 years

I am having a time with the dealer. Their position is that the 2 year extension is $12,800 which I have already paid. As you know this amount with the 7% sales tax is double what I should be paying.

Is there any Ferrari printed documentation that I can obtain to support your price information?

Also, is there a reference to the Florida law you mentioned?

I am open to suggestions/ideas to resolve this amlicably.

    Thanks very much

It is $5995 for each year of the 2 year extension. Not $5995 for 2 years. So it is $11,990 for 2 years plus sales tax. Your price is correct.

Sorry to think that they got the better of you so just forget about it OR, put a claim in before those 2 years if you need to. Myself, when I bought mine, the dealer wanted $8500 I believe for 2 years and I said NO THANKS........Some time went by and they came back at $3,500 which for me being a first time Ferrari owner, I accepted it. HOWEVER going forward, I would DECLINE them all and assume the risk myself! PS. My 2 year warranty expires in September and I expect to not have processed any claim so complete waste of money. Most importantly, its not the money, its the knowledge and once you realize how good these cars really are, the last thing on your mind will be a warranty

I think it is a honest misunderstanding.
mkraft3003 says I was charged the correct amount but 05F430F1 says the correct amount is $5,995 for both years plus tax.

I hope there are some official Ferrari pricing documents to refer to that would clear up the issue.

Which could also be a part of the problem? Negotiated market leaves room more many discrepancies which probably goes on here.....not saying that it makes bad or anything.....

There is a 2 year extension and it is $5995 for each year of those two years.. After that you can add another 2 year extension and it is about 9k for each year. It is not $5995 for 2 years. Just look at mrdrums post above and he confirms it as well. If Todd paid $5995 for 2 years then he is a rock star.

If you’re concerned call Ferrari NA or another dealership and ask them.

Hmmm. No it isn’t… it’s $5995 for a two year extension. (In Florida)— I paid $6900 for the 2 yr extension because I bought it from a NY dealer who wanted $8400. But because I’m in the business and called them from Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale (in friend/GM’s office) and told them about knowing the cost and regulated retail in Florida, they negotiated with me to 6900 which I immediately bought.

I do not believe it’s even possible to buy just one year— the Ferrari CPO program (like most other manufacturers) is a two year extension beyond the end of the factory warranty.

It even shows in my app right next to the 7 yr maintenance and 3 yr factory warranty
