    Crazyblack,

Thanks for the clarification. It would be nice if the panoramic roof was included in the EQP. However, it is not (and it is a pricey option).

What exterior color did you spec?

Does your dealer still have free slots?

Most dealers were given 15 slots for BIP clients.

Word on the street is Ferrari asked the dealers if they were given another 15 slots if they could move them.

I would get a deposit in if I wanted one.

May the Horse be with you

No. Over 200 contracts and only 58 slots. There are no free slots in Germany.

I think I will go with a dark brown tone. After several green cars. Green is now a common color at my dealer. [emoji6][emoji3]

I want to make I am understanding you correctly. The dealers accepted 200 deposits knowing they only had 58 allocations? If that is correct, did they inform people they were only going on a waitlist and are unlikely to receive a vehicle (in the first three years)?

My guess is this is the wait list. The factory actually created the list for first slots I don’t think dealers had much of say?

Don't worry, they'll make it to the last customer who wants one.
For this one, we'll have to wait, that's all...as the owners of the recent 812 GTS did...
You still don't believe that they will leave money on the table !!!

Yes and no. They won’t make an endless number of them. They will close the order books and someone will be left wanting. You can’t order an f8 T or S even though they are still making them. I get your point but I do think the demand mayy out weigh manufacturing capacity and we will see on the GTS….there are still those that are waiting, I do hope they all get them.

The system works a little differently here. You can make contracts at any time. Ultimately, this is only like a letter of intent. No deposit is necessary as long the model is not presented. This is how the contracts were collected over the last 2,5 years. The number of allocations has only now been communicated. These 58 are all slots he will get in the 4 years of production. Status today. Only now, after the list of customers has been agreed, will the deposits be paid.
    I made my contract 2021.
All models, including Roma spider, are literally sold out. There are more contracts than slots available. I have contracts for Roma Spider since 12 months and 812 successor since end of 2021.
Ultimately, it is something more than a waitlist.
But yes, he now has to inform a lot of customers that they will not get a car. At other dealers, the number is even bigger.
I usually pay my deposit at the time of the order call. Purosangue and 296 GTS are the first two models, I have paid before. This was because the factory asked for.

It is the second largest Dealer in Germany last year and the Testarossa Award Winner in 2020.

I understand. How much are they willing to sell the slot for?

I made a deposit last fall and have not spec’ed it yet. Not expecting my allocation to get locked-in until late ‘24.

I did order the car last week, they got no problems with slots for Poland, but they are not willing to give them away for anyone and you need to have at least two other Ferraris.

BTW, I'm not so into all those Ferrari nuances, what is EQP and BIP ? I tried to google it, but no success.

Was told today when talking to my dealer about my 812 GTS order that I was fortunate to have had my Purosangue order pull in a few weeks ago, because it was announced that the base price has now increased to $460K USD. Apparently, Ferrari cited demand as part of the justification.

Yeah, I was told the first year or two will be the 400k, and 460k after that. Not sure where I fall in that…

Interesting. FofSV hosting their PS event today. Had to cancel this am with a kiddo coming home from college and have last minute changes to his schedule. Super bummed to not see it. I haven’t been in yet to spec mine which means I am clearly waiting on an allocation. Glenn- sounds like you have spec’d yours. Lagunae have u done yours?

I haven’t specced it yet. I saw it a couple weeks ago, and am excited to spec it. I don’t expect to get on in the first round…
