Hi All, I have got some corrosion on my passenger side front wing very low down, is it worth getting this rubbed down and painted or is a new wing the best option? Also I'm based ion Somerset any recommendations for bodyshops would be appreciated please.
I had the same issue on my 2009 599, slight bubbling of the paint right at the very edge of the panel. This is a common issue with older aluminium car panels. Also occurs on Astons etc. No need to replace the wing, but the whole panel will need to be re-painted by a very good Ferrari approved body shop.
Thanks. Yes I’ve seen it on a few astons 06/07 models and walked away as it’s all over. Do you have any suggestions for body shops?
