458 or Urus

To think that somebody was trying to compare a 458 to an ordinary SUV that looks like every other one out there? That 458 isn't depreciating while the SUV will depreciate right in front of your eyes.

 

Yes, you have received some dumb, inconsiderate responses.

But you really need to describe your planned usage to get more reasonable advice. For example, even though I didn't care for driving a 458 at all, if you said your use case was canyon carving....I would say it would be the far better choice.

Odd cars to cross shop, the Urus would for sure get more seat time and way more comfortable to drive but the 458 is just special. The presence of Audi materials and technology are heavy in the Urus which takes away from that special feeling. I would take a used Rolls Cullinan over a Urus. Fast SUV’s are goofy. The 458 would be my pick.

 

Bicycle or ice cream?

 

I stand behind that. As time has passed, the greatest SUV was the one that slid off the highway on an icy day in Illinois that thought it could better navigate the terrain. Ha ha ha, An upside down SUV was pretty common and that URUS...right upside down with em.

 

Urus is an awesome suv I love mine and have a performante on order.

Urus has more street presence and is more of a flex/pop culture fixture than a 458 lol

Great call! Love your new ride, enjoy. Now you can go by a "beater" SUV and let it earn its keep. I drive the road in Illinois and the ones I see flipped over on their lids are........SUV's....and I laugh every time I see one.
