Because it’s a 599 and he should know that project is still a work in progress.

If true, why did they promise it would be done 2 YEARS AGO? If one of my cars were undergoing a Frankenstein operation and was a YEAR late with little to no updates, I'd show up at the door with a Sherriff and an Attorney

For those encountering any technical issues or have questions regarding their converted cars we encourage you to contact us directly. Our team will promptly address your concerns by coordinating internally with our technicians and engineers who know the product better than anyone. We acknowledge that communication problems have occurred in the past, but we have implemented several internal improvements to overcome this issue. Rest assured, we are here to assist you with any issues you may encounter.

Over the years we have made significant design changes and modifications to enhance the overall driving experience. By reaching out to us and explaining your concerns, we can effectively address and optimize any issues you may be facing with your converted car.

We understand that some clients have experienced extended wait times and we are diligently working through the backlog of cars as quickly as possible. Our priority is to complete them in chronological order whenever feasible. However, each car has unique requirements, and occasionally, certain cars may be addressed out of order due to specific reasons. For instance, we may have to wait for service parts to arrive before proceeding with the conversion.

If you are interested in having a conversion performed or have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our dedicated team will promptly handle your inquiries. Feel free to reach out to us via email at [email protected].

Totally unrelated to anything going on here, but my curiosity has the best of me. To make a long story short, a friend and i bought all the oem parts for the conversion we could, bought some aftermarket ones, and remanufactured the rest. We came to a crossroads with the gate as it required a 5 axis cnc. While we were able to materialize a more than acceptable gate, we looked at a few designs. The EAG gate has very narrow slots. From my understanding, these were made to create a more crisp feel. My question is, does the eag gate line up with oem throws?

EAG has delivered a few finished 599s to Customers. I’m aware of one that is in need of significant remediation work - potentially an entirely new, non-EAG parts conversion. Hoovie’s car needed additional work as well. What % of V12s have been given to Customers needing immediate work?

Given the scrutiny EAG is under with this community, I can’t wrap my head around why they are releasing cars to customers if they’re not 110%, let alone if they are still working on designs and execution?

I hear ya. Personally, I can’t wrap my head why someone would be willing to send his car in before a conversion project is even proven. 2 years ago, 599 parts probably weren’t even made. Equally as puzzling, why EAG would take a bunch of 599’s in in the first place.

Only reason I could come up with is the person willing to send the car in that early in the development stage is because he wants to be part of the first batch of 599’s to have the conversion, which implies he was willing to assume some risks and ride with the ups and downs of the project. There was always a risk of not meeting a project deadline. This is a project in uncharted territory. This isn’t a cookie cutter engine out service where a timeline can be reasonably given.

I’m sure both parties are unsatisfied with the timeline of the project, but both parties signed up for that risk. If one wants less risk, then wait for the project to be proven before sending the car in.

I for one was an early customer, but not willing to "assume some risks [of development]". If you recall, Dan and Art both represented and campaigned (orally and by the website) in December 2020 offering to sell conversions and kits to match the Ferrari shift rod linkage , as though it was fully developed. My contract requires the Ferrari linkage system. Obviously EAG's attempt to replicate the Ferrari linkage system was unsatisfactory, which led to a 2022 pivot to the shift cable linkage system.

Until a company displayed a proven conversion, which they never did, there was always risks. You purchased/bought into a project without ever having seen results. That’s inherently risky regardless if you wanted to assume risk or not.

I had to do the same with my conversion. It cost me about $4500 to get everything corrected but I am glad everything works. My car took many months to complete at Art's shop and when my car was shipped back to me the conversion was not working. The mechanic I used to correct the mistakes was recommended to me by the local Ferrari club. After the conversion was corrected the mechanic told me that the conversion felt the same as a factory manual. I was happy to hear that news. I have had no issues with my converstion for a few years now. I still needed a receipt for the work done which Art refused to provide. I keep a file of all the work that was done on my car which will help when I sell the car. Chris the new CEO was able to get that done for me about a month ago. I do feel Chris is trying to correct the mistakes that were made at the shop.

Since I started the thread “My Horrible….” After seeing other posts, I only have one question, did Art replace the clutch I paid additional for during the conversion?

What I don't understand is how once you have the models and cnc programs how you still don't have the parts. There are a zillion cnc shops begging for work.

I was surprised to see, in a Hoovie’s Garage posted up two days ago, footage of the interior of Tyler Hoover’s 599 showing the black 3D printed shifter gate that EAG gave him a couple weeks ago to replace the CNC billet unit that EAG used in the initial install in early March. One would think, if EAG has the code to make a printed version, it would be a simple thing to cut a metal version on its 5-axis CNC machine.

Hi there, I am new here. I am also having issues with my 599 with EAG. I brought the car in November 2022, and was told by Andrei that conversion work would start on February 2023, but no updates or work has started yet. Now, I was informed that Andrei left EAG, and Josh is handling the schedule but so far no response on dates for delivery from them.
