    HARD pass. And frankly I don't understand why men's watches are trending smaller. A small watch looks ridiculous on a man. A few months ago I went shopping with my wife. The salesman kept going on and on about how I should get a 37mm watch. When I tried one on it felt odd, and my wife almost laughed me right out of the store.

    To me it depends on the shape. I think a smaller square or rectangular mens watch like my old Gruen and Reverso look fine on a man. Lady watches of any shape or size don’t look so good on men, imo. At the same time I think some of the larger modern watches are really over the top and I wouldn’t wear one.

    The TAG Heuer Lady Monaco at 37mm was a ladies watch I would wear with a black suit. Kind of retro, not feminine. A little overpriced for a quartz, though, or I would have bought one.
