    Anyone have a process to fix the fading black lettering on this engine badge?

    Sorry for the typo in the Title, can figure out how to edit title.

    You can use testors black enamel paint from any hobby or craft store. Use a toothpick and put into the missing places. If you over fill or some gets on smooth surface, after it dries get a qtip with acetone and it will rub off. Hope that helps

    Secret— first, it’s not faded, it flakes/chips off… secondly, they replaced it under warranty for me! [emoji4]

    They ALL do it… I looked at every Ferrari in showroom and every one had some piece of the horse or lettering missing.

    That happened to my 488. I removed the paint completely which solved the problem (and looks even better imo).

    Use a “Lacquer Stick” to fill the lettering. These are regularly used to fill engraving. To use, you simply rub the stick over the engraving and then wipe off the excess with a rag. There are inexpensive and readily available on Amazon.
