That is a much needed part, I was on the hunt for a long time. Our Ferrari locator shows some dealers in Europe having them, but that is it.

If you find one (or some), let me know

    Thanks

Seems easy enough to make using local machine shop, definitely stronger.

If your car is a manual transmission...as in has a clutch pedal..you do not need that part. If it is an F1 car..i.e 2 pedals then you do need that part to hold the position sensor.

Important to mention, 3 pedal cars (at least mine) and pics in the WSM don’t have the F1 studs. These studs would be required to be added if deleting this plastic part. In three pedal cars this plastic part acts to limit travel, and rotation of the TOB. both functions would be done by the studs.

I purchased a pair of the studs from ricambi for ~50 bucks. Which is a lot less than this part can be fabricated for.

So here is another question this part was updated to allow increased resting (= clutch not depressed) travel. why has the travel of the TOB be increased from 27.8mm to 30mm?

Also would this 2.2mm of increased travel cause increased resting pressure of the TOB on the PP perhaps contributing to earlier TOB failure.

I have seen a couple of threads on TOB failures.

Any experienced folks able to comment on the increased TOB travel from ~28mm to 30mm,m? I have shared some data and pics in the 360 section thread.

    Thanks in advance
