812 GTS Allocation

I can recall a couple of times where Ferrari took a completed car outside and took some pictures for a customer Speciale Aperta but not recently. You do realize with the delays in receiving pictures your Ferrari may have already left the factory and be in transit.

 

Went to status 70 today.

I know 85 is next, but does anyone know what Italian port these ship out from?

 

My dealer approached me last week that there might be new slots coming up for an 812 GTS and if I might be interested. Interesting...

 

They are building too many of these great cars.

Sooooo worth it. One of the all time great cars.

 

Couldn’t agree more. 10k on mine and still loving it. Even if the replacement is na and beautiful, I will keep this one for the interior alone (analogue tach) etc. I think second will remain strong for that reason alone but given I am not selling, it’s just a data point.

Wondering how allocations all of a sudden came available? My understanding they want to close production by year end. Mine is planned to go into production later this year. I wonder if these allocations came about by people cancelling at the last minute.

I have had a reservation since July 2021 and was just notified I got my production slot. I was told, however, that all reservation owners would get a car back when they shut off 812GTS orders. As to why the slots are available now - I would suspect there are more than a few crypto “millionaires” (think FTX) who are no longer in a position to fulfill their reservations. Just a guess

My salesman said my car got on a boat last Friday and will be here June 16!

 

Status 90.

I’m on a boat.

Will spend the next few days on marine traffic trying to sleuth which Genoa-NYC vessel it is.

 

Not sure of status, but this just popped up on app. with
vin number. and every build detail - my guess
4-6 months for play time

Congrats! I would think you might see it sooner than 4-6 months.

 

For what it’s worth, I got my first pic and VIN May 4th and was told I would have my car at dealer June 16th. Looks like app updates are delayed a bit.
