For the life of me I'm stuffed if I can see a reason for Green being in the team. So called all rounder,half an hour for 1 run,Carey there for 5 minutes and he's on 10.

I stayed up as long as I could, but was frustrated by poor bowling (esp Green) and the dropped catch. I thought if we won by less than 15 runs, it would put Lyon's effort into the spotlight, albeit at the expense of our anxiety.
Calling the Aussies unsportsmanlike,thanx to Starks non awarded catch,we got one back quite legally....what a mob of sore loosers. .............oh..and we played the fairer better cricket without resorting to bodyline for hours on end.
I think there was poor captaincy in field placing towards the end and not taking the new ball was beyond me! Ponting was getting really irritated….
I tell you what, that crowd behaviour was some of the most disgraceful stuff I’ve ever seen. The runout was totally legitimate, as anyone whom has played cricket would know. The first thing you are taught at primary school level is never to wander out of your crease. In fact the Poms did exactly the same thing last year (run out a player in those circumstances) and it was celebrated as very clever cricket. Stuart Broad is and always has been a total ****. Well done to the Aussies, even if Captain Woke was driving me nuts with poor field placement and continuing to bowl that hopeless joke Green even though he was getting spanked all over the park.
Up until Bairstow got out,there was only one team playing the game the way it was designed to be.....after that the Poms woke up.! Dreadfull pommy bowling behaviour the day before for a number of hours,Aussie's only emulated the same for relatively short periods....and that's 'cos the GOAT couldn't play. There are several vids showiing the poms doing exactly the same runout procedure that Carey got soooo right. ......and bring back Boland..he's using some pretty good Dreamtime magic!
