An interesting question is what do market values do when the standard is to have a special limited in the 600-1000 unit range for every model type. So you have a Comp for the 812; an XX Stradale for the SF90; etc. If standard business procedure is to do this, this could lead to the average customer having an increased inventory if they want to participate in these special limited models.

I have both the GT4RS and an SF90 AF coupe. They are both uncomfortable in B or C roads that we have in Toronto. Which one is worse comes down to the seats. I think the 4RS has better cushioned seats so you at times it feels a tad better but it’s splitting hairs - both cars obviously designed for smoother roads and extreme track performance. On a side note I honestly think the STO is the stiffest modern day car super car I have experienced in a while.

I agree, I cringed when I read that comment as I have multiple race cars and will drive my SF90 XX Spyder around town with the top down sometimes and I suspect I will enjoy it immensely!

I am of a certain age and mindset where I don’t care what magazines, internet posters, the ”cars as investments” crowd who sweat the possibility of depreciation with every mile or raindrop, or YouTube influencers opine about the car. I know that I love every mile I’ve driven in my SF90 AF, and I suspect that the SF90 XX will only build upon everything I enjoy about my Assetto Fiorano car. I count myself very fortunate to have an allocation, and I plan on using the XX car just as I have my current car—and maybe even more extensively if the information about a front end lift being available in the XX car is true. I’ll take it to the grocery store (for very few items!); I’ll take it through the Starbucks drive through; it will go to, on and from the track; and I bet I’ll even take it to dinner every so often. I’ll enjoy letting kids sit in it at a gas station and sharing with fellow enthusiasts about the car. It will do what every Ferrari has done for me In spades: make every mile a special event, and I’m going to enjoy driving the hell out of it!

My comments were not aimed at the driver, but the car. It looks ridiculous.

Very refreshing. Kudos, sir. Never understood the point of buying cars if not to enjoy driving them.

Your original comment was “being seen driving it “… which implies the driver ( I think to most reasonably minded people )… but everyone is entitled to their opinion …. In this case I think yours is valid for you. However I believe most will see it as a ‘wow’ moment on the high street. Anyways , where are more configurations /renders ?! I’m hoping for some WAY -OUT liveries !! Dream lines , lexan windows , tricolor splashes , faded bicolours etc ….. ooooops …. I’m off daydreaming again like a 3 year old in a sweet ( candy shop )

Agreed completely. I get the impression the SF90 XX will be more of everything that made the SF90 great, without losing much of the "Stradale" part of it. And I heard the same thing (it's also present on the configurator) - you can choose to add the suspension lifter option on the SF90 XX. I'm assuming that means you either get the standard SF90 suspension with lifter or SF90 AF multimatic suspension without lifter.

Yes let's start talking configs - maybe we need a new thread for that. I'm torn between going atelier or tailor made on this one. I'm pretty sold on the bianco artico launch configuration and given the nature of the interior on this one I'm not sure how much room there is for interesting material customization on the inside, so maybe atelier is the better route. At the same time, with something this special it seems a mistake not to go tailor made.

I am all for shifting the discussion toward configurations, and while that may require a new thread, I wanted to ask about the suspension lift option. I love the Multimatic suspension on my AF car, and I wouldn’t want to give that up—but is there any chance the suspension engineers have figured out how to incorporate a front axle lift into the Multimatic suspension setup? Maybe that’s just not possible from an engineering standpoint, but I can hope!

Congrats to everyone who is getting one and received an allocation for this car. I love my SF90 and how well it drives when you push it. In my opinion, the XX model is going to be a great street or track car. I wish I was getting one but having an SF90, Portofino, and Purosangue, and Roma Spider on order is not good enough. Back to work.

My interpretation is there are two suspension options but it’s worth confirming with Ferrari. Note the language on the configurator:

Novitec do a suspension lift option for the AF car, so Ferrari must be doing it as well, to the Multimatic suspension..

Not heard about 2 suspension options, wouldn’t make sense… Novitec already do a Suspension Lifter kit for AF Cars, think it’s £5k plus installation from memory…

As far as the refund talk the question is... why would you want one?

I was at the launch and confirmed there is only one suspension configuration that can be optioned with a front lifter. Cheers

That’s great news! Thank you for this information. Will the XX car have the same Multimatic suspension as the Assetto Fiorano car (but with a lift) ? Or have they gone to a new suspension solution for the XX car?

That lines up with the steering wheels where none had a bumpy road icon on the manettino. I was also at the event but got conflicting messages, what you said makes sense.
