Yes the owner should’ve been more active on the auction, but he’s a busy heart surgeon. Sold for a great price and I think the new owner will be surprised at how cheap he got such a sweet car.

What color combo do you want? I saw 612s in different colors and except for off/white, I believe dark colors suit her well (black, blue, dark grey). Silver/light grey was the worst color IMHO, it did not enhance the design. Good luck with the search.

Knowing the car, there's no way I would've set the reserve that low. But the owner just needed to make room right away. There was no time to wait for a better offer. Lucky buyer is all I can say!

That's a great outcome for the buyer. The kind where the hammer falls and the house says "sold" and you just think "really? Huh." Same way I got my S3. For a heart surgeon who needs the room, it's not a bad sale either. I don't think dealers would bid at that number, and when your sale goes to a dealer that's when you can really question the value you got for it.

Let us know when it's paid and shipped off. If the sale falls apart, I would entertain flying out to see if I could pick up the pieces. It's a great color.

I think the car was a non-US car, although it had a US title. I may have missed it, but it wasn't clear to me how it had received a us title given its a post-98 car

It’s depressing that you are right….hopefully the buyer doesn’t flake out.

I don’t have room now either but at that price….wow….

UAE cars were built to US spec in the mid 2000's. I had an '07 430 from Dubai (Al Tayer Ferrari) and had no issue getting a US title.
