Sounds yummy. I've been meaning to try green peppercorns but haven't yet got around to it.

@BrettC - did you use dry or brined green peppercorns for your recipe?

Did ours simply, Maldon salt and then onto the electric griddle.

I get a few things at Safeway with their curbside pick-up. Mainly pop, coffee, and things like that. I sit in the driver's seat and the person from the store loads my groceries in the back. Friday they put an extra box of someone else's stuff. Didn't realize until I got home. Phoned Safeway and she says they toss returns from curbside once they leave the store, so keep it. The best score was two salmon filets. Had them for dinner last night with some rice.

My buddy and his boys are on the water fishing almost every weekend since the boys could walk, so the boys are experts now. Some of the best poké I’ve ever eaten was prepared by his 13 year old lol.

Brined are best....a little softer I think. Cheapest place I find them is asian grocery stores. Cheers!

Nice, brought in a 90lb yellowfin on 20lb line (years ago). Took an hour and a half. It was nap time after that fight. Good eats....try this oakey receipe with fresh steaks. Mayo and soy sauce mixed till desired browness. Dunk into and throw on grill. Most melts off leaving a nice glaze. Cook till desired....A old Asian guy taught me this and said his wife wouldn't cook it because of oakeyness! LOL

Shoulder is pretty easy. Super tasty too. Can’t go too long they will be dry.

Same here with a brisket, never tried it. It’s on my schedule for the fall.
