That surprises me, too. The area around there gets hilly pretty fast. Are you noticing any fuel leakage? Otherwise, it could be the typical rough idle and sputter that I found to be common with Webers...They like RPMs and are much happier when running above 2500 RPMs. Is this the first car of yours with Webers? If so, you might consider getting some reading material about them...They are grear carbs, but can be finicky,

    Mr. John,
Yes, this is the first Weber-equipped car I've owned. I actually had a Weber book, but gave it to the guy I sold my 1982 911sc to several months ago. Pretty sure I can get it back. He's still running the CIS (Bosch K-Jet) on it.
He's the carpenter I use for home repairs, so I have regular contact with him.

I appreciate the uncommon colors reflecting the style of decades past, agree that interior is stunning.

But I admit being a sucker for Red/Tan on the 308

That example should sell for a respectable number IMO

Such a sweet deal - another BaT head scratcher…

and the Oro one is already at 74 with 4 days to go….

I think that BaT bidders are of the mind that there will always be another red 308 so what’s the rush. Wait a few days and there surely will be another one there

Maybe or maybe not. It can be re-restored when it gets worn out. It is not like it is some sort of unused vehicle where driving it harms its originality. Hopefully the new owner drives it a lot!

I agree. I put 79K on my car and intend to do the same now that I have it back from the rebuild/refurbishing. I've added 1500 since (still breaking in the engine rebuild). Car has never run better!
