Slap a Pininfarina logo on it and we’d be hearing non-stop praise.

I think it looks strange too. Silver an odd choice, IMO

I like it. It looks like this car was shaped from a huge piece of metal. Very smooth design.

There’s a lot to process looking at the pictures but I like it so far. I’m not a fan of the SP3 testarossa inspired grille vents on the front though

Love it. If the SF90 was this sleek I would do what I can to get one.

And it goes to prove the point that they knew how to make a car this unified, smooth and purposeful, yet chose to give us the awkward, pointy, oddly lumpy-reared SF90 in the first place.

I also enjoy the shape of the car, the line across the rear hip is very elegant. From some shots it looks too Maserati inspired though

Ferrari should’ve stuck with them tbh, I honestly feel like the Battista was supposed to be the SF90 in terms of design

I've been saying that too! If the SF90 looked like a Battista it would have moved more units.

I knew I would like it better on video, it's easier to understand the lines. One thing that bothers me is the headlamps being too low. For a track car I guess they don't have to care, but it throws off the proportions...

Yeah much nicer in the video, actual when I saw the video it reminded me of that old movie The Wrath. Lights are a last min though I would say. I wonder what the power, weight and downforce numbers are. Feel like the SP3 and the Sf90 had a baby

  13. Exactly.

The KC23 makes it look like the SF90 was last in line when the car gods were handing out style points.

I believe Ferrari was able to sell all the SF90s that it had planned to sell. I understand that the styling is not universally loved but SF90 is a fairly successful commercial product unlike the FF or GTC4Lusso.

The exterior looks like computer rendered then photoshopped onto a lot.

I do like this design. If you haven’t seen it in motion, or seen the moving body panels then maybe hold off a bit on judgement. It’s very futuristic and very sleek. Watch some footage of it. It’s pretty impressive.

    1. who is KC? You mean he didn't take a bow with the car at Goodwood/
    2. At Goodwood was he on a presentation stand similar to Casa Ferrari at Pebble where they present new models?
    3. Will Ferrari show the car at Pebble?
    4. The instrument display looks more race car like than the street car it was developed from so if this model is mass produced are they going to lose a lot of race car-practicality?

Yeah hard to read in pics. Some of the form seems "off" and the graphics are at bit disjointed.

I suppose the production cars go through a few more rounds of refinement and the details are better worked out. But I'm always happy to see an SP as a glimpse into the current thinking of Ferrari Design.

The silver color is a nice alternative choice.

Its a bit ... odd. Parts of it look melted or bent.

I really don't understand Ferrari's movement to generic tail lights. They used to own something.

Tehre are at least three videos go to Google and tpe in KC23 video. The two I looked at were shot in near darkness
so I still need a clear explanation on how side air scoops work. In the video below I get the impression the side vent only opens when it is needed, kind of like a shark ooening its side vents.Anybody know if there's a still picture of the side vent closed, then open?I do feel the rear lighting is more Kia styled than Ferrari.

I still think that Flav’s designs lack a general cohesion. It seems that they are designed like the separate elevations of a building rather than one single organic sculpture. This makes sense because he is a trained architect. The KC23 I think has some really good features. I even like the light blade thing they’re doing at the front and the rear. It simply lacks that one thing that ties it all together. Specifically I think the front end is where this could have been accomplished and is let down. Flav typically gets a project with great bones and then loses it in the details.

Hey Crinoid:I love yourcomment of "great bones but loses it in the details" Reminds me of my beef against current Corvette. in the rough clay it had a good shape but hen they had to have Fred's taillights, and Mick's scoops and a half dozen other cooks in the kitchen overdo it. Do you have a car design bckground?
