Even today a lot of stairs are used, even on wide-bodies. 2nd time on a 747, returning from HI (1st was flying to HI), landed at ORD and the bridge had frozen (-8degF). Had to walk down the stairs and across the tarmac to the terminal. Dec 75

Unfortunately, the aircraft was destroyed in a fatal crash going between shows, but Franklin was not flying the airplane at the time.
