You may want to get in touch with me to verify the software isn't going to cause you long term issues. I've had to fix many of Dr.S "free" software conversions so far. Free and Ferrari rarely go together [emoji6]

Where did you put the clutch F1 fluid reservoir?

 

Curious about this as well. Looks factory to me though.

 

I think the factory shift gates are still available? Very expensive though.

 

There were only 4 available when I ordered one last year around March 2022! And yes was ridiculously expensive!

 

If I ever get in a wreck that looks like a total, I'm taking the gate and shift knob as "souvenirs".

 

Just confirmed with Eurospares that they are still available. No idea how many.

Well @360trev, you may have crossed the line. Could you please list those "many" software conversions you have fixed? Or name even a single one you have fixed? What exactly was wrong? What have you fixed? Why? Who contacted you for any help with my software? I'm not aware of any single person who was not 100% satisfied with my ECU programming. Plus I have satisfied customers I've helped AFTER they had problems with other tuners.

Obviously nothing is "free" in this world. My programming is only "free" for those who purchase the complete kit, even though I could equally well start charging a $1000 for it separately. For now it's built into the kit price.

Is your comment a payback for the business and recommendations I have been sending your way?

Yes there are problems, go and talk to your customers.

In fact even this very customer (indirectly) got my ecu work as the shop he used was my affiliate. Those shops can always use other conversion kits too, recommendations go both ways.

 

@360trev I talk to my customers, and there are NO problems that I’m aware of and contrary to your earlier statement you have NOT fixed any of my software conversions. Not even a single one.

If by “this customer” you mean @coldsteelcures he has never had my ECU conversion. I know the shop you are referring to and the shop owner very well. I actually lived nearby and had my Maserati cars serviced there starting well over 10 years ago. And we discussed my gated conversion business when it was just an idea and we still talk as needed. That's why I recommended this shop to Rich.

And Rich (@coldsteelcures), myself and the shop have all agreed in advance that the shop will do the ECU conversion locally (using your s/w).
Again, there were no problems you could fix in my software as my software was never there. I only gave you one more customer.

So perhaps you meant that you fixed software from someone else (NOT my software). But if you still insist that you have fixed at least one problem with my software conversion, please be specific whose car it was.

 

Really happy with my Dr. S kit! The quality of the parts and ease of installation is bar none. Best investment ever for my car. The shifter plate looks amazing, congratulations on your car, looks beautiful!
