I haven’t seen it either and to my knowledge the only shield available other than yellow was the CF one of the F12 TDF. This might be aftermarket. Nonetheless I have to know where it’s from because I love it! I’m always a little sad when I see a great spec become slightly uglier because everyone feels the need to have the shield.

My car will be produced Q4, but the dealer is not sure it will be a 2023 delivery

I haven’t checked out this thread for a while, so perhaps it’s been recently mentioned…but, after the poll was conducted indicating forum members would like to see the Purosangue in a section like other models, am trying to understand why it hasn’t been moved? Anyone know?

The Purosangue thread in the Non Model Specific Section is the elephant in the room in this forum (pun intended).

I had the shields on our California covered over for a stealthier look.

They took the shields off, wrapped them, and then painted the covered shields to match the body color, then reinstalled. It's held up great for 3 years and counting, and I think it would look better with a darker exterior color. And, best of all, it's reversible...T

That’s the best way to do it for sure. Well done… however, I can’t understand why anyone would NOT want the iconic shields! They look amazing on any color and on any Ferrari… they’re a huge part of the car for me. All my Ferraris have been black so that yellow contrast is just gorgeous. I would never buy a Ferrari without them but apparently some of you disagree… that’s the beauty I guess. We are all different but have one main thing in common…. Love of Ferrari overall.

They are beautiful, yellow just doesn’t work with every spec. Lets say for example Verde Zeitweg and bronze wheels. Whenever you have gold or bronze mixing yellow with it instantly ruins it.

I like it but prefer the way it’s done on the GTS with the horse. Without anything inside the shield shape it’s like… Why is this shape here?

It surely looks great and professional with its matching color + reversible. However I would have kept the shield like it was, it’s such an icon.

I agree with your post. Shields look amazing, they are a big part of the car as you said. I would not remove mine or have them painted. But everyone is different, it’s all good. Yes, like you I would not buy a Ferrari without the shields.

Hello Purosangue fans, I DM’ed the forum mods about the Purosangue having its own section and the response was positive. It will happen but the mods just have not gotten to it yet. Good news!

That’s great news, the PS is a real Ferrari and deserves its sub-forum, also considering that more than 15,000+ PS are sold over the next 5 years (a big number of owners and drivers for Fchat).

Correct, a V8 and a Hybrid are expected to be manufactured in the future (auto news).

The number 15 car is not a mule.
It is a stock standard PS being offered by the factory for test drives at Fiorano by selected clients.
