Has anyone put a 360 F1 power unit on a 355 F1? I know it's in a completely different location but I thought that I have read somewhere it had been done. Thanks

Why? Generally speaking the only issue with the 355 unit is the integral pump motor. Hill makes a conversion kit to use a 360 etc pump. This is what we were doing before the Hill conversion unit. He just made it easier.

We have done probably a dozen and I did the Beta unit install when they first came out. Our installation instructions are on the Ricambi site.
Only thing you will need is a hydraulic line from the pump to the 355 power assembly and I have those if you cannot get one made locally. Be aware the wiring in between the 355 and the 360 pump is usually backwards so you will need to swap the wires in the hard-shell connector to work.

Thanks everyone for you reply's. The problem we are having is the car will not shift. When the Leonardo is hooked up it will shift gears but will not do a self learn. Pump pressure is fine. Leonardo is showing a problem with the clutch solenoid. When you put power to the solenoid it works fine. Finally found a new solenoid and it's on the way. Hopefully that will fix the problem!

The last two 355 F1 cars that I had with issues needed to have the TCU board replaced. Not doing a self learn when everything is functioning may be the TCU.
