Love blistered shishito peppers. It's like Russian roulette trying to find the "hot" one! [emoji2]

But, they don't do well in typical Texas summers. Even our South American aji are roasting on the vine this summer. Only the Mexican peppers - chiltepin and pequin - seem to be enjoying the heat...T

Yea, just thawed out some shrimp from the freezer and poured out some cocktail sauce.

Didn't realize there were so many shrimp in the bag, just finished them tonight. They were really good though.

My wife has been craving Fondue…so I got her a fondue pot for her birthday. First usage was tonight - with cheddar and Gouda cheese mixture (it was what we had). Pretty yummy, I had to tap out pretty early though.

I hear that! Decided to poach salmon instead of grilling it. Was 106 F in the shade last night in the back yard. It's so hot, I've had to drive the fun cars with the AC on. ☹️

Could be worse, our friends live in Scottsdale and it's about 10 F hotter.

Poached salmon in the Mauviel copper skillet. It was good. Not "steak on the grill" good, but good for fish! [emoji2]

    Sizzle-tastic!

Best attachment for the grill I've ever bought is a rotisserie. Try a standing rib roast. The other great thing on the roti is pineapple. Baste it with cinnamon sugar, slice off bits as it gets a nice caramelization. Put the pineapple back on the roti, repeat, until it's all done.

Put the grilled pineapple slices over good vanilla ice cream if you want to gild the lily.

Pulled out some ground beef to thaw out. Thinking I'm gonna just throw in a can of cream of mushroom soup and have that with rice. Haven't decided on that yet.
