ps it's easy enough to swap just the centre disc out of any horn button. And yeah, generally it's the 58mm

Another question for you all: Is it possible to install it in a way that it doesn't trigger the airbag signal?

Are you talking about replacing a airbag wheel with a non-airbag one and, NOT having the airbag light come on? If so yes, that is possible. You need to use a resistor... The only problem is that I can't remember what one. I am sure someone else will chime in.

Correct. I’m swapping the OEM wheel with a momo mod 07. See picture. I can live with the sensor on but I’d rather not have it there of course. I’ll ask my local mechanic about the resistor. Thx.

I used the wrong resister and set the light on. I pulled the bulb out for now until I take it to my technician in October.

Here is a question, and maybe I asked this before... But does switching to a non-airbag wheel give you more steering feel? I wonder if why our steering isn't as feelsome is because it was developed without an airbag wheel and then they stuck on a big heavy airbag wheel and that soaked up some of the feel. Just a theory.

Yes, reducing the weight of the steering wheel will improve steering feel as you theorized, Paul. This is why F355 Challenge cars had non-airbag omp or momo steering wheels as part of their Challenge kits.

Just switching to a 360 steering wheel with its smaller and lighter airbag improved the steering feel on my 355. As far as I can tell it is the same diameter as the original 355 steering wheel so it's not a diameter change but the weight change that made the difference.

Same here, best mod I’ve done to my car. The F355 school bus wheel is very heavy, maybe due to being the first gen of Ferrari airbag wheels.

Let me know if you'd like to run the flat horn as pictured from Momo...it's doable and makes a world of difference.

I want to insure my original 1995 F355 non-airbag wheel for shipping. Any idea what these are currently selling for? [What is the value of the steering wheel for shipping and insurance purposes?]

    Mint condition. Wheel only.
