So many people take the bumpers off, but this car is proof that the bumpers looks wonderful!

Question!! - Is that fuel pump a new purchase unit? If so, where did you buy it from? I am looking for that style fuel pump for our 1975 Maserati and it has been difficult to find.. I'll PM you also..

The seller was having a new wiring harness installed when the shop performing the work abandoned the project and asked him to come pickup his car. Finishing it was beyond his capabilities.

Finally got my Fulvia assembled and running only to discover it has a bad head gasket. #2 cylinder fills with coolant

That must be a tough setback.. Keep going, even if it's 15 minutes at a time. You'll get there. Are you using Solex carbs, or going with Dellortos?

I built a set of Weber 40DCOEs for it but have'nt got to the uprgading state. The Marelli ECU seems questionable so I wired the ignition in the conventional manner, the pitfall there is that the tachometer doesn't operate? I want to get a few other projects out of the way before I tackle the head gasket.

It is certainly nice to see a performance-oriented and somewhat historically minded product offering. Honestly I don't feel I know enough about Lancia's current organization or creditability as a stand-alone brand (are Lancia built on others' chassis and running gear?) to offer an opinon.

I was just in Italy for two weeks and saw a few Lancias, a nice looking four door econo car which I think was an Ypsilon, and another much smaller "commuter box".. The exterior of the Ypsilon was attractive. The interior was, as far as I could tell through a closed window, very bland.

This is a Delta III series, produced during the Marchionne period.
The background is the court of the former Fiat Lingotto plant.

Yes, that's a modern Delta and I can confidently say it's by name, and certainly not by nature. We hired one in Italy a number of years ago and drove it through the snow. I locked up the wheels while braking down a 100m long, not-so-steep decent and it ended up in the barrier. It was the slowest crash I've ever had and pretty hilarious. Oh well, that's what rentals are for...

We stayed two nights at the NH Lingotto Hotel in the former FIAT factory. It was an excellent visit, we saw the test track on the roof, the spiral ramps are still there. The other interior spaces are now a shopping mall and offices.. very cool experience. Image Unavailable, Please Login
