Thanks; that's what I was aware of, but thought that you might possibly know. Thanks again.

The Eldorado looks very good. It's supposed to be a collaboration between Zeta and the Panini museum. I'm hoping for more like this - perhaps the T63 Birdcage or the A6GCS Berlinetta?

If those drawings are anything to go by, it looks more like a single seater. Tires seem too wide for 6885?

Could also be a T33/2 or 3 Alfa due to the red lettering.

You have to go back many pages to 2012 but here is the A6GCS Pininfarina Strada 24 1/24th kit.

I already have the A6GCS by Maurizio, but that's a different version than the Panini A6GCS (slightly higher roofline, more pronounced rear wheel arches). I just checked Marcelo's Facebook page, and behold, there is the Panini A6GCS (photo by Marcelo Figliozzi)! The T63 by Profil24 is also different than the Panini T63 (although I missed out on the Profil24 unfortunately). I cannot recommend visiting the Panini Museum highly enough by the way. Whereas the factory museums (Ferrari, Alfa, Porsche, Mercedes) are rather pompous affairs, the Panini Museum is a wonderful little building at the end of a typically Italian private road, lined with cypresses.

I posted some photos in the Chicago region of old photos I took at Laguna Seca in 2000 when Panini brought a few cars.

The Panini collection is wonderful, but their A6GCS is not. It was incorrectly restored, varies a great deal from its original state.

It does look different from the other Farina bodies, more angular / less curvaceous. Would that be the result of the restoration?

If you do a little research on each chassis number, and look for how this car and the others were when they were originally built, it's then easy to see a lot of what's wrong, which in the case of this car, resulted from its restoration.

... Walter Bäumer / Jean - Francois Blachette in the book "Maserati A 6 GCS" / page 107: "... restoration in the 1990s. Unfortunately, the radiator grille was installed upside down during the restoration, changing the front section design of the car significantly."

... the Berlinetta model you showed is #2089 (started his life with a normal body), which has been crashed in a hill climb in 1957 and came back as a Pininfarina coupe (white color - side vents - more "square" grill - normal rear wheel arches - ...)

The RA302 was magnesium (as the unfortunate Jo Schlesser found out); was the RA301 as well?

I have the DDP Ferrari 308 GT4 in 1/24th and it is his best kit. The body and parts are almost perfect. I know he printed the master, so this is a new level. Decals are good but not great, although they are crisp and accurate, but not Cartograf :). It has the correct wheels as raced at Lemans in 1974, not like the restored car.
