Storing Cavallino, PH, etc. magazine collections

    How do you all store collections of magazines?

    For Cavallino, obvious answer is the red holders, which are in stock again but it’d cost almost $800 plus shipping, which is more (a lot more) than I want to spend.

    Was thinking of something like clear vinyl sleeves 3-hole punched for a binder, but didn’t know if anybody had any ideas.

    I’ve seen some pics in threads here of how some of you do it, but didn’t see a thread about it so thought I’d ask.

    I’m still trying to figure out why I keep mine. Last year I threw out over 30 years of Classic and Sports Car, I don’t miss them.

    To answer your question I’ve been keeping them in plastic storage containers, except Cavallino, which are in the red slipcases,

    I hear ya; I've thrown out way more magazines than I keep. The only ones I definitely keep are Cavallino (through 250, anyway) and PH. I can grab a random old copy of either and get sucked in, especially from a couple decades back.

    Those look great; neat and organized and can see them. I've used black plastic magazine holders in the past, those look much nicer. I don't mind the red holders, but not for $35/each and then you have to ship them; can just about get a complete set of the magazine for what a set of the holders cost, shipped. Nuts.

    I'd believe that, looking at them; they don't look cheap. But yes, a little outside of what I had in mind, price-wise....gives me ideas, however. Thanks again!

    I've been using a much cheaper version of the ones Marcel is using. Cost here in the Netherlands at HEMA only Euro 6.00 each. I think you can find plexiglas versions anywhere for different prices/qualities.
