I was going to go nero DS but this thread makes me picking RC or RS again
There are so many beautiful reds to chose from. It is really hard to make the decision if red is your colour. However, I will say note : there is a difference between a solid colour and a multi layered mettalic colour including fine metallic. The difference is that solid colours dont change shade at different angles of view and light. However at certain angles the paint will look FLAT. Metalic colours really dont change shade that much if at all. Multi layered paints which change shade even the look of the colour in different lights. Is that acceptable ? The question I would ask is what do you really want ? If the answer is Rosso Corsa as it was for me i went for Rosso Corsa Mettalica. This is basically RC with a very fine mettalic flake. What this does it make for a very glossy surface at any angle. The RCM is still claassified as a 2 layer however its dearer now that when I got it for my car. Note to many its a waste of money given its still RC and many say they cannot see the difference. However , you can and will see the difference. Nothing worse than looking at a Ferrari and seeing the flat shade of Rosso Corsa.

Dont know the updated cost but it considered as a 2 layer paint. It used to be about 7 k USD when first released.
See posts 40 and 53. Rosso TRS is not metallic. It is a 4-layer mica paint. A Metallic Rosso Corsa exists and it is called Rosso Corsa Metallizzatto.
Lovely colour , any other pics ? Would love to see the car in bright sunshine , I am thinking of Rosso Fuoco , or Rosso Magma. Trying to decide is tough . Artellier shots etc do not help that much .
Rosso Magma vs Rosso Coburn I think overall Coburn has some violet in the mid range of the color and lacks the copper highlights of the Magma. Magma will range from a really dark dark red to copper going from shadows to highlights. Coburn I think will remain more consistent. I think both would look really great on the 296- in short I think you are deciding between a more dynamic and punchy color that will look like candy apple red in bright sunlight: magma vs. more elegant consistent like how I imagine a glass of red wine in Coburn. A color thats a bit in the middle of these two- but closer to magma would be Maranello JMHO. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Hey thanks for your detailed thoughts , if you have any pics or can point me in the right direction of some it would be great . I am a 2024 build on my GTS , RHD Going to do Nero interior Rosso stitching etc , no bi colour roof .
Probably adding to the confusion and various opinions . . . From Left to Right - - Rosso Maranello, Rosso Fuoco, Rubino Micalizzato, and Rosso Fiorrano. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/458-rosso-fuoco.297572/ Please chose rosso fuoco, very eye catching. This photo does not look like the Rosso Fuoco with human eye. Deep red with very gold metallica highlighted in glowing syle. Big aura and luster to this color
Car just arrived at dealer although the app still indicates waiting list Seeing the car in person I think I will wrap the roof black while I have the ppf installed. It will make it a little bit more aggressive. At the moment I'm still not such a big fan of the front; side and rear looks awesome though. Installer uses STEK; anyone knows if there will a color difference with the other glossy black parts? Image Unavailable, Please Login
