    Does anyone know how many 275gtb4's originally left the factory equipped with an outside filler cap. I was curious after checking out the listing for the Del Rio Fourcam being auctioned off by RMSothebys.

    Thank you very much, Marcel. If anybody would know the answer, I thought it would be you. I figured it would be a small number, but not that small. That makes these cars rarer than alloy fourcams. My car's S/N is 9725.

    Regarding GTB/4 with special features, do we know exactly when the Del Rio car has been fitted with bumpers ?

    09831 was born without bumpers.
    For the certification (red book issued on 13 June 2018) bumpers had to be fitted......... They are now gone again.

    Stupid question but why they asked for bumpers if it’s well documented the car was born without ?

    09831 failed to sell at the 21 May 1990 Sotheby's auction in Monaco.
    This 4-cam has been featured in "Automobile Quarterly", Volume VIII #2, titled "Wild Thing", published in the fall 1969.
