Chinetti kept 57483 in Belgium at Jacques Swaters' Garage Francorchamps and sold it 29 June 1986 to Jean-Pierre Van Rossem (Moneytron, Onyx F1 Team, etc.). Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the confirmation, this is apparently yet another GTO that spent time in Japan and has now returned. 57483 in that catalog. Image Unavailable, Please Login
looks like another is up for auction. know nothing about it, just passing along the link. IMO this car is the sexiest exotic ever built by any company. Happy Friday fellas. https://www.yahoo.com/autos/broad-arrow-auctions-selling-ferrari-133005668.html
That's 54809, with the previously discussed, um, odometer discrepancy. Bold strategy to sell a car like that with no reserve...
Looks like Tom Hartley has bought the 288 EVO that's been in the UK for a while. He took it to Donington Race Circuit earlier this week for a Supercar Driver Meet. I found these images on F Book. Stocky, I think the car TJH has is the ex-Leventis 79887 which spent many years in the UK and did indeed have the front aero fins as depicted in EVO magazine, it was sold from Leventis by John Collins at Talacrest. Very cool part of the Supercar puzzle. GTO Evos are very raw & crude in construction, these GTO Evoluziones do feel like a Prototype or Muletta, Larry Stroll sent 79888 to us for our California GTO 25th Reunion in 2009 to be one of the 15 cars there, and I recall the interior was so small I could not fit in it so my teenage son got behind the wheel and steered the car whilst it was being towed. Larry Stroll sold the car for one simple reason - he could not fit in it with racing helmet on. Here's 79888 at our Reunion in 2009, more images here www.flickr.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
58329 the ex-Niki Lauda GTO imaged when it lived in Museo Ferrari before we were able to buy it for our USA client, a truly special 288 GTO. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
On the subject of UK 2288's I'm trying aasign chassis numbers to B397JPG and B828KRX. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
