Planning a 1000mi plus road trip in the 812. Anyone aware of a front end "mask" type of protection available or that can be custom made for the 812 to reduce damage from small rocks and road debris? I have clear bra already.

Road trips and short trips are normal for this car. I don't get adding an ugly bra to the car for normal use. The PPF you have was designed to minimize chips. Just use precaution on highways as you normally would and enjoy the ride.

What is the difference between a 1000 mile single road trip and ten 100 mile drives? Curious why it’s needed because of this one trip if you may drive this ultimately with same risk over time?

I had completely forgotten about those horrific bras people used to put on cars. I think I may have actually thought they were cool when I was kid. Man, I had bad taste back then

You can put Trak Tape over ppf. It’s meant for when you track the car and want some heavier protection. It’s visible and will have wrinkles but very protective. Just don’t leave it on for more than a couple weeks or else the adhesive it leaves can be a pain to get off, kind of like a price sticker that leaves behind adhesive residue.

This. When we've taken our F-car on road trips, we try and avoid being too close behind commercial trucks and lorries, especially cement trucks, rock haulers, garbage trucks and such...T
