I sent my 2013 cali in for service at the dealer went in running excellent came back in limp mode I live over 200 miles from my dealer Trying to see if it is something simple I could fix .. amazingly it ran perfect before the service...now no engine light the check ok lights up green but it will not go over 5000k RPM..
I am sure they will pick it up but hate to lose it for another week.....
    thanks

Do you have a code reader .. need to check what is causing it ..it will be stored for sure
I kinda wanna say disconnect battery and reconnect and see if it is better but I really think it is important to see why it thinks something is wrong

I connected my code reader up it had no codes shown ran through the check showed O code and went ahead and cleared any codes but truthfully it showed no and no historic codes .. and all the lights go out ... not sure about disconnecting the battery but maybe leave it over night on tender since it sat at the dealer for more then a week?
if I disconnect the battery will it re program the car??

What code do you have .. some only read OBD codes .. if it was a weak battery there still would be some codes e.g. Can bus codes etc
I have attached the procedure ( first few pages) - really nothing more than to idle for 10 mins after you reconnect

no codes or faults shown .. the battery is strong enough to run and only a year old.. I am not thinking there is anything wrong with the battery the obd tester goes through the systems and all the tests and it show everything fine the car starts and runs but does not go over
5000 rpm before I sent the car it ran fine and I would hit 6500 to 7000 rpm or more every time I drove it ..
like I say the car goes through the self checks and the green light comes on saying check ok then I start it runs fine just will not go over 5000 rpm ..I kind of think a disconnect of the battery might be an idea or the dealer left something disconnected ? but it sounds fine really confused on this...

Good question , I do not see on the ticket that they did .. However this is the second year they have serviced it the car
I have owned it about a year and 1/2 .. I bought it from a Ferrari dealer with the power train warranty .. SO I am guessing it would have had it updated at some point but who knows..I
guess I will call them to come get it tomorrow

SORRY it should say drove it again and on one start .. a light lit up saying "NOT PROGRAMED" light went out after 30 seconds ... I restarted in three more times during the drive no engine lights.. Still will not go over 5000 RPM .....
really irritates me I sent it in to the dealer runny GREAT .. pay $10000...plus for 4 new tires and fluids change including 2000 for transportation and it comes back after more than a week running on limp mode..still love the car this is a service department issue.....
    any ideas would be appreciated....

What diag tool do you have . some code readers do not read the codes that Ferrari sets .. they only read OBD codes

It would be interesting to see what codes are stored ( if any)

It does have euro codes but not Ferrari specific.. I ws told there were no codes stored cause I asked them to run the code reader as a part of the service...

Thanks DOMINICK ,for the help I disconnected the battery and then followed the procedure you sent and it runs fine now .. amazingly it actually needed me to reset the clock and turn the AC off etc. before it ran right ...
SO saved me a lot of PIA .. Took it out running it up to 7000 plus rpm and runs fine now...
I found out they did a recall for the brake cap and software update.....
