Ahhh, that makes sense. Good thinkin’
I know it's not a Spyder but you really need to consider one of the GT Spirit GTB models. The detail is really good and even though it doesn't have opening doors the interior viewed through the windows is quite nice. Even the tire treads are spot on. They only made 999 of them so not a lot around. Another nice model is the 1/43 TS that Ferrari commissioned back when the car was new in a nice case mounted on real stamped Schedoni tan leather. I keep one of each of them on my desk for you know, "emotional support", when I'm not out in the garage.
GT Spirit has a Spider on the way, apparently. Image Unavailable, Please Login There’s been one on eBay for a while. Maybe it’s a preproduction? Dunno, but interior isn’t great. https://www.ebay.com/itm/304721087735
The 348 Spider in blue from GT Spirit (Ref. GT 333) is really amazing... But i have noticed a BIG mistake: SOME OF THEM HAVE A WRONG WHEELS ORIENTATION! Unnaceptable!! Check pictures in some webs ... https://www.carmodel.com/es/gt-spirit/gt333/1-18/ferrari/348-gts-spider-1994/160173 https://www.diecastxchange.com/threads/ferrari-348-spider-gt-spirit.236465/
Did they do the same as the old BBurago 348 tb ? (it would not be nice for a relatively expensive model, BBurago were cheap) To be correct they need to have four different wheels, if they have only front wheels / rear wheels they are wrong on one side...
The TB version I have has the correct wheels on each side so the Spider should be correct as well. If not just move the wheels side to side.
My GT Spirit finally arrived. It’s pretty nice actually with the exception of the shields and backwards wheels. The paint is great.
