Thinking about upgrading my 458's rear diffuser to CF. Is it easy to do?

I took my rear diffuser off for the first time a few days ago, it was very simple, 10 mins tops. I did have the rear jacked up.

I'd say that the plastic one is easy to do with just one guy. The carbon fiber one that I have, I wouldn't want to do it by myself because you don't want to mess up the carbon fiber. 2 guys, one to hold it, use moving pads liberally on the floor and you should be good. I would do it on a 4 post lift or some other such lift. On the ground, not so good.

I put a moving pad on the ground, remove most of the bolts, then sit on the ground and slide my legs under the diffuser. I use my legs and knees to support the diffuser while I reach under and remove the last couple of bolts. Then slide yourself backwards with the diffuser on top of your legs.

    It’s very easy this way.

I’m assuming diffuser removal is not as easy on an F8? Because of the active aero flaps, screws behind the reflectors and I’m sure some other difficulties? (Not changing thread, just curious if anyone has done and know on an F8)

Don’t put a carbon one on. If you even drive your car remotely hard it will get chewed up fast. Stick with the fiberglass OEM diffuser and enjoy.
