My Testarossa is an 87 with KE jetronic, and is F113 A040, 00586. It has auxiliary air valves (AAVs), no warm up regulators, and black boxes on the side of the fuel distributors that, I think, regulate the gas when cold.
Anyway, the car has not been able to idle when cold for years. When the temperature gets to the first mark, it goes from open loop to closed loop and it idles great.
I decided to take the AAVs off, clean them, and determine if they were working. The part number is. 0 028 140 104. One of the AAVs had a small opening, (is it 90 degrees F here) and the other one had a very small opening. I had some AAVs from Alfa Romeo, number 0 028 140 124. The AAVs appeared the same and had almost the same coil resistance, 38 vs 47 ohms. I decided to substitute one of the Alfa Romeo AAVs for the one that had the small opening. I did have to enlarge the mounting holes.
Upon starting twice now, the car idled perfectly. Cross my fingers, I hope the problem is solved.

After reading some more on the subject, I find that the AAVs are adjustable. Live and learn.

Only on some of the AAV used on F models I believe -- but it was/is a handy thing IMO to have on the TR AAV.
