I love my FF but I can’t help but notice it seems to shift much slower than an F 12/812. Even my 458 shifts quicker. Can the gearbox be tuned safely to up and downshift quicker, or was it deliberately neutered like the engine of the FF vs f12?

I really just want a more aggressive downshift. I have full Novitec package now for reference. Below is a link to an f12 with similar set up and my car video is attached. Makes me think something is broken with my car:) lol: F12 just consumes gears. I am making around 700hp so not huge difference in power

Sadly I believe the FF can't shift faster without heavy mods, I already asked Mase tuning if he could tune the TCU this way but his answer is not:(

The FF is designed to be the "comfortable" ship vs the F12 and the factory did not allow us to shift like lightning with it, when I swap from the F12 it is a bit frustrating I confess...

Shift speed is one thing I don't like about my FF too. As mentioned before, shifts in my 458, especially in Race mode, are lightning quick. The FF is lazy by comparison. It doesn't have Race mode either, only Sport. AFAIK the gearboxes in the 458, FF, and F12 are basically the same, so it must be software related...

FF has longer gearing but the mechanics of the boxes are the same is my understanding. I think the PTU adds another element around tuning, hense not being able to just switch or tune the TCU. Someone needs to figure it out please:). I just need a quicker downshift, I can live with the upshifts.

having just switched from a stock FF to a stock F12, the difference in shift speed/shift feel is staggering
