I also chose non-carbon exterior and kept the plastic bits which can be ordered in black paint. If I recall, there were at least 4 paint options to choose from.
It is indeed a masterpiece, a true super sports car that’s just elevated compared to its siblings. When are you expecting your PS?
I elected to do the same. Opting for the Design Package and then spec-ing all the external CF really jacks up the cost. But, if you take the package at least the external plastic trim is painted gloss black.
Bernie, do you recall what are the items included in the design Package? I am doing a Taylor Made in October.
Assuming you've driven one, how would you compare PS to a Porsche Cayenne in terms of driving and handling? Thanks in advance...T
i've driven both fairly shortly after each other....Cayenne you feel the weight, steering, breaking, accelerating...the inertia is evident....the PS is much more nimble and agile...as it was previously stated it feels like sports car and if you wouldn't know you wouldn't notice it's elevated and has four doors...although the PS is faster the Cayenne feels faster....the push from the turbos makes it feel faster
The Design Pack includes the following items: -Style Seats -Full interior CF (Gloss w/Copper Thread or Matte w/Red Thread) -Black technical fabric for footwells -Gear shift in burnished finish -Speaker grills in Black Oxide -Roof in either glossy CF or panoramic glass -Gloss black external trim for lower body sections
Completely different. I am a big Porsche guy and feel like they have hit the sweet spot with the handling on all of their models. I also love my Taycan Cross Tourismo Turbo S.... A lot! Having stated this, the Purosange has the glorious V12 Ferrari engine and noise. The steering wheel feels chunky and the whole car feels so planted like no other SUV made. It is more like a car how flat it rides. Gearshifts are better too! Pure linear power and no turbo sensation.... It's a stroke of brilliance!
Today i got to drive and play in the Purosangue. I experienced it for around 3 hours, but shared the driving. My mate that has a Purosangue on order (who also drove it the most), brought along his GTC4. The GTC4 today was the faster car in each of our hands on all of the different and dynamic roads we were on. The GTC4 also pulled away by a car length in each gear. I guess that's the extra 300kg to 400kg of weight of the Purosangue has, with the same V12 motor. The Purosangue, even with its trick suspension just got bullied by the lighter car when it was in front, and was dropped when it was behind. The GTC4 and the Purosangue both had Michelins.
That's too bad, I was looking forward to using my PS purely on the track. Use the Speciale and SF around town instead.

I know it's a long wait for lucky owners but it's worth it. If it's any consolation in the meantime, you can imagine your Purosangue being built on the assembly line and finally being placed in the elevator and sent below to carry out the final inspection before shipping. This review is super helpful because my wife loves her Lusso. I am telling her how much easier it will be to put a babyseat for the future grandchild in the Purosangue. Lol. Lusso definitely hides its weight and long nose well and it sits low. As long as Purosangue is similar to how it drives but slightly bigger and heavier, I think I should be okay with the compromise.
Some beautiful pictures of the Purosangue in the snow. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
