348 348 Parts Thread

Can anyone assist with finding part 62158700. It’s a switch plate for a the door switch passenger side in a RHD 348 TS.
I found it in one place but they are asking over $120 shipping to Australia . Everywhere else discontinued . Any suggestions ?

Find someone with a 3d printer to copy the other one, or the broken one if you have it ?

 

I ship stuff to Australia all the time and items this small and light can easily be shipped for $20-$30 USD tops. Do you have a friend in the USA who can act as intermediary?

 

Seems you are getting a bargain. I entered my (Aussie) address and they wanted U$200 postage for that U$8 part. i.e. A$300. It's the same for most US companies. They don't seem to want Australian business. Have you tried contacting that company directly? Ricambi, for example, sometimes offer a cheaper mailing rate for smaller parts if you contact them directly.

 

Anyone have a source on the Vapor Canister? I believe it is part# 138419 and for a 1994 348 Spider. Several of the usual suspects list the part as available, but they do not have and cannot order.

Ital-Spares in Germany seems to have a used one available:https://www.ital-spares.com/brand/ferrari/8488/vapor-filter/filter. I have purchased from them in the past and they are legit.

Lastly, the Ferrari unit looks suspiciously similar to Maserati part #379200204 (Biturbo) as well as Alfa Romeo part #60511492 (164). Might be worth looking into it.

Can a anyone suggest where to get the ferrari oem cloth cover for the targa roof. It came in few colors . I need the red one .there's a shop in Holland but shipping costs are really High.

I didn't buy from that particular seller but I've bought an eBay MAF and another from aliexpress. I bought them really just to confirm that the problem with the car was my MAFS which I ended up sending to Fuel Injection corp to get refurbished.

I also used them whilst waiting for mine to be repaired and the car ran fine.
