So this particulad glossy paint is much less common. Am i correct
All 3 of my Ferraris have been Nero 1250-- it's not that rare, I don't think... it's just not metallic. It's beautiful! I will say there aren't many I see for sale... It was hard for me to find my F8 with the specs I wanted in Nero. It's the only color I can accept on a Ferrari. Yellow is my second and only other choice but it's a distant second.
I agree with you totally .. i am looking at a 488 now . Looks like i may get it . Hust need to see the paint one mire time . It will be fulky detailed so i can get a better look … interior is perfect. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful looking car!! If you’re OCD like me with detailing and paint condition, fair warning— it’s a DIFFICULT color to perfect! Any non metallic black requires quite the skill with polishers to perfect the paint. I’ve spent 37 hours of labor perfecting a customer’s Ferrari… 6”, 3”, 2” and 1” polishing every single millimeter and doing 3 stages to get it flawless. Once attained, it went straight to PPF. This is the only way to make it and keep it beautiful because these type of blacks will scratch, mar or blemish just by looking at it lol. Sadly, for my own car, it was already PPF’ed when I bought it and the PPF is water spotted in some areas that won’t polish out so I’ve been just doing a section at a time and removing PPF, polishing and redoing PPF 1 panel at a time— it’ll get to my acceptable level one day but it’s not there yet (6 months later lol) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes, get a good look at it.. bring a swirl finder LED light if you got one. My company is OCDetails and Coatings so I understand being OCD about cars lol -- sadly it will be hard to tell if there is marring or damage under the PPF but if need be,, you can always remove it, perfect it and replace it.
