new garage $2 1/4 million

yeah, when I saw on Googlemaps where it was, first thing I though was - why not just buy a few acres outside the city limit and put up a pole barn. He could've saved a lot of money and drama and still had an amazing facility

 

Wow. What a POS. To think that I felt sorry for him.

 

wait....how? even double deep, that's 8 to a layer in the structure that's there. I get there was a basement and an elevator.... was there 3 levels down parking garage?

How do you get 34 in there?...or out when you need them?

Anyone knew what was part of the 34 cars collection?

 

I spoke to Bundas a little bit before his death about the construction, the glass work in particular. I had no idea about his alleged criminal activity. The guy was if he was telling me the truth totally getting screwed by his contractors etc. The glass portion was about double what my company would have charged him even with long distance travel. He was also pretty set on what he wanted for materials that was way over the top. As for the cars, what he told me about sounded like a menagerie of different stuff. None of which I had the slightest interest in.

 

From time to time, Bundas would mention particular cars in some of his other threads.

 

They all appeared to be junky/not desirable models like non running Maserati Biturbos etc.

This is what always confused me about Bundas. He seemed to pour money into this garage build and the cars. There wasn't a single one I would have any interest in at all. A multi million dollar garage to house a bunch of cars nobody wants. To me...........a two car garage with a nice vintage car inside would do the trick.

 

He had a lot of cars, Maserati's were his favorite, a couple Boras, probably three Meraks, a ton of QP cars and parts including QP2, probably five Indys, I bought four junkers from him. A Ferrari 400, and a bunch of other cars. They were mostly in poor condition and purchased on the cheap back before they were desirable. I have pics of his car yard somewhere from when I bought the Indys. He screwed me over big time, he has many friends here so I just sucked it up and kept my mouth shut. He always played the victim in EVERY deal he made.
