Dear All,
I am since recently considering purchasing a 308 GTS Carb, and so it is with great pleasure that i have read posts on Fchat and also in this thread - btw, i’m amazed how active and willing to meet the swiss community is !

Question to you: knowing how painful the MFK / entire registration process can be, i wanted to inform myself with you guys before buying something outside of Switzerland and trying to import it. What worries me is that many 308 GTS i see for sale across europe have to some degree modifications (e.g., exhaust line). Any experience you can share with me on the matter would be more than welcomed !

Thinking about selling my 360 Spider F1. I will post it on autoscout in January next year, but want to give you a heads up, in case someone is interested.

I have owned the car for 10 years now, and it is time to move on. Vehicle is located in Zurich area.

It is a 2003 model, Rosso corsa, with the badges on the side and black leather interior with red stitching. 46000 Km (more than half done by me). No sticky buttons or air bubbles on the dash. Everything 100% original.

Perfect service history (Foitek/BI Collection). Large service done this year (worth over CHF 20K), including time belt and lots of small stuff. New tires. MFK was also done this year. Selling for a fair price (between CHF 75K and 80K).

Kind of off car question but kind of not …


My friend owns and runs a very successful GT4 race team here in the US. This company reached out recently about sponsorship. Besides their website, I cannot find much about who they are and etc. Is anyone here familiar with them?

Based on information available I wouldn't let them manage my money, if that was your question....

 

They don't want to manage, they want to "invest" in sponsorship....which confuses the hell out of me because while race car sponsorship is cool...unless you're already MASSIVE (social media presence/high visibility brand already established) my friend cannot figure out their "ROI" intent.

I told him if it sounds to good to be true...
