Not true. All in, I'm at about same as the car cost new. As the interior is 100% new, and the exterior/mechanicals are like-new, I feel okay at this number.
Interior removed from my car, stripped, reupholstered. Seats from Eurospares. They sourced from prototype Enzo dismantled when production began. Seat installation requires proxy file that US dealers are unable to source. Also requires seat rail adapters, which we machined from billet aluminum, to match 458 rail width. Lastly, requires installing airbag sensor matte into passenger seat cushion for US-spec car.
Understood. My understanding is that the leather for Ferrari comes from Germany so I would anticipate that it is the same as the factory leather which is why it looks so good. Congrats!
You are one brave soul! I get ulcers just looking at all that fitment work. Finished product is amazing. Kudos. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think we all had the same confusion with his words.... I think he means the hub or piece that mounts it to steering column.
Clocking suggests something like when you buy an alternator and it has to be clocked (rotated) into a certain configuration for the particular application.
No the clock refers to the spiral round thing that makes electrical connections from the steering wheel to the cars hard wiring
