Is it true that they are all sold out for the v12? If you were offered one would you take it assuming you are on the fence?

Sold out thru 2026. Order books may open back up. As for your second question, offered one to be delivered when? There are dealers that may “offer” you one and take a deposit but it may not be delivered until 2028, if at all.

I got one for 2027 this weekend. They had the pre-production one at our dealership this week and they had a total of 24 allocations available and I got one of them but the delivery year is 2027. I think there is a good chance I can move up in the line when someone else backs out but we will see. Ferrari picked who they wanted as the buyers for the first two years of production.

I cancelled mine it does not make sense to me. A half a million dollars plus for a car that is not a sports car, not a grand tourer, not as versatile or comfortable as my M/B GLS AMG 63s and a car that I need to keep the miles down on like any other Ferrari. I wanted it but in the end it was more for show off reasons and at seventy I no longer need to show off.

I find myself with the same view - will stick with my Range Rover - my 812’s will cover the need for speed plus a couple of other incoming cars in a year or so. In the end just didn’t see the point.

After seeing it “in person” at Pebble Beach … a hard pass for me. It is actually one of the new Ferraris (read post PF) that looks better in pictures than in person. Trunk / cargo area make this a useless SUV and a compromised sedan / sports car.

Buying one of these must be one of those "gateway" cars to get to one of the more exclusive models like the Icona series of the upcoming LaF replacement.

Between this and their lack of success in Formula 1 really shows their hand in the IPO.

Not being sarcastic, I think you made a wise choice.

That said, Ferrari knows there are certainly plenty of others where this car fully fits their lifestyle. A few years of order books worth in fact.

    Cheers

I mean love it or hate it, obviously here you've been in the latter - SUVs have taken over. 3 out of 4 cars bought are now Trucks/SUVs in America. I get it, I too hated the notion of a sporty UVs when they first came out. The first luxury SUVs were fun though, say the ML320 or RX350 (when those came out) - it was the ML55 that I would argue ushered in the first "Sports Luxury Car" SUV (Before the Typhoon)

I would be lying if I said it didn't have a hoot of a time driving all of these cars. The Macan Turbo is great fun. In the end that's what swayed me. Would I take any of these on track over something else more sporty? No, but if this is the only car I had, sure.

I can sleep in my car, but I can’t drive my house. BTW my F12 and F8 Spider are worth more than my house.

But they have been public since 1969. Won 14 of their 16 championships during that time. 6 when Muammar Gaddafi was a partner. Also old man made parts for Hitler. Now don't go saying that I'm claiming Enzo was a Nazi or Fascist, all I'm just saying I've always picked and selected elements that I think should move forward, and others best left on the dustbin of history.

    Think Acura (Honda)
    Lexus (Toyota)

Or a even more specific example, Maserati (Ferrari) - Pre Stellantis. Owned 100% 1999-2004 - I've always argued Maserati cars during this period were more Ferrari then Fiat. Though both, under Fiat (hence the Fiat parts I readily have used in the past.)

Also 90% in 1988. That's why I got spinoff shares during the divestment.

Do you have the red F8 Spyder that I see on HWY C and 83 every now and then?

I concur my everyday driver is a GLS AMG 63 and I have a 24 GLE AMG 63s coming next week for my Florida place. Other than showing off they are so much better for a daily driving. I like my 458 spider, 308 GTB and the Lusso GTC4 I had a couple of Aston's but not for 80% of my driving. The Purosangue would be a nicer car for every day driving than Ferrari's sports cars but if you put more than 1,800 miles/yr on Ferrari's their value plummets so what is the point?
