I have been frustrated for some time now with my floor mats moving about when I drive the car. Decided to take some action. Never mind the Ferrari floor mat anchors ... after some searching I found these bad boys which were originally for the 2002 - 2007 Subaru WRX. Image Unavailable, Please Login I found mine on eBay. They have a slight bit of offset which is handy when one installs them in your car. These brackets are aluminum and they have a post with a rubber O-ring to retain a plate washer that you place on top of the floor mat. I also used an adjustable wrench to give the bracket a slight twist so that once you install the bracket under the front seat rail mounts, the end of the bracket with the post will lay flat on the floor and the post will be at 90 degrees. You will need an 8mm hex key wrench to remove the seat rail mounting bolt. Mount the floor mat bracket under the seat rail and tighten the bolt to secure everything in place. If the grommet hole does not line up with the new bracket posts, you may need to make new holes in your floor mat. Get a grommet tool to install new grommets. All the best ... Steve
I looked at eagle claws. They seem like good solution. Am thinking that if the floor mat holes were not well aligned with these Subaru mounting brackets that would be good solution to avoid making new holes in floor mat.
