    The 4 headlights on the Silver Cloud 111/S3 cars and the Silver Shadow/T Series cars are fantastic be it low beam .high beam or fog lights .

    Actually they are the standard 5 3/4" Lucas sealed beam units. That photograph doesn't show the lower colour temperature of these lamps over the halogen version however, which appeared 30 chassis numbers after my car.

    The headlights are in beautiful condition, no tungsten deposition on the glass or de-silvering of the reflector. Tidying up the wiring loom to the front of the car all assisted to make them as bright as possible.

    The image was taken last night in Cape Schank as I headed to Melbourne. Not one car sighted on that section of Boneo Road, a beautiful drive.

    I just realised why the headlights are great, that car is not fitted with Chinese tyres. The only Chinese items are what's on the inside
