I chuckled when I saw that on the telecast. Very much in the same spirit as his “headspace” remark post-race.
And to add, Carlos is a highly analytical, serious, cerebral, articulate, honest and logical character. He exudes pure class.
I just saw the video of Perez' dive bomb on Albon. I can understand no penalty for the lap one contact with Yuki, but the crash job into Albon definitely deserved a penalty. Totally ruined Albon's chance for points.
All well put. I’m liking Sainz more and more, really since the start of summer when he was out qualifying Leclerc. I’m cool with Leclerc too but it’s looking like Sainz might be the better driver.
Wouldn't it be a case where the car is gradually changing with all the small upgrades made by the technical people and it now enters an area where CS is more comfortable with it and CL less so? It is not obvious to me that drivers (CS or CL) have much of an input in the design of the car.
Leclerc was driving careless by the end. He started the final lap with 3.8 seconds lead on Verstappen. Difference on the line was 0.264.
He had an engine problem : https://scuderiafans.com/how-a-critical-ferrari-power-unit-issue-almost-cost-charles-leclerc-p4-at-marina-bay/?fbclid=IwAR3QetBi8r0nmxJ8BGVyqzxwJPpuSuOt5ISITIY2FikDzwsi0JqOjKf66QM
