Is the UFI 3002300 a direct swap for the OEM 180935 in the 575 or 151562 for the 550/456? Also how is 180935 (575) different than 151562 (456M/550)? Do they cross swap? I would have imagined all three cars use the same air filter hence query
As I know these are from Japanese specs - right 173616 and left 175506 and EUR and US specs vere fitted with PN 165558 on both sides.
All- I’m not sure if anyone else cares about the rear seat center hatch gas strut…. But I have found a replacement! It’s not IDENTICAL but I’ve confirmed it works. Hatch now stays open by itself as intended (I believe). Now I never had the pleasure of seeing how this rear hatch operates when new, so I can’t be sure it acts exactly the same way. But I’m happy (enough) with the results. note: in my pic of the new on I drilled 2 new holes in the eyelet end to try and adjust the geometry of the system..BUT…it did not work as the receiving holder on each end abuts the eyelet. SO..you have to use the original eyelet holes of the new strut. BUT IT WORKS ANYWAY! I used new (smaller) Clevis with cotter pins on each end (as opposed to original larger Clevis pins with C clip snap ring) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
hey there. As mine is a '95GT (not an M) it is fitted in the hatch between the rear seats. the strut frequently fails and the hatch won't stay open by itself. (this is a pet peeve of mine!) I'm not sure if the M cars have the same strut; or if they do it may not be the same as on the GT. hope this helps
Wow... more parts I didnt know i needed (or not). Mine opens freely, so no piston on my car. Did you have the whole rear assembly out or can you just access it by removing the 2 screws in the bin? Learn something new all the time about this car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
yeah I was able to access and fix just removing the inner bin. HOWEVER..now that i've removed the whole back seat to access audio/speaker wiring I realize it would have been a whooooole lot easier with everything removed... anyway...fun to try new stuff!
seat height adjusting cable is NA from Ferrari Porsche sells it separately PN 996 521 609 00 for $30 got it in 2 days
The 456 m also has these on the EU and US spec cars. The pre-M models indeed had them only in JPN!, Still searching for them though... Who knows where to buy and maybe which car-brand also used these...?
Holy crap - it’s like you heard me crying my blues today! Literally have a fried connection at the main fan and was trying to figure out how to get a new oem line installed. Now I can skip it all with better results and install this brilliant kit! Just bought on Ricambi and thank you!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Awsome to hear and thank you! You will like it. Nothing from stock gets removed, just redirected. So If you have actual fried or damaged parts PM me and i can put a package together of spare components to replace whats there already so everything is safe and secure. I would also check the conditions of the plastic plugs in your fuse box for damage too.
1995 456 GT Starter Solenoid Has anyone found a cross reference or alternate for the 456 GT starter solenoid? From research is seems the starter is a 110 series, part number 0 001 110 108 and the solenoid is a 0 331 303 032 532. It may also be compatible with the Testa Rossa. The starter I can get rebuilt locally but the solenoid is a replacement part and I cannot find one. Maybe I could send the solenoid away for repair but would rather just source a new one. Of course, Ferrari does not seem to sell solenoids separately. EuroSpares wants $1,200 for new starter + solenoid. https://www.eurospares.com/Parts/137269/Ferrari SPUK has an aftermarket set up for about $600. Shipping is going to be high due to weight... The Peugeot 406 Coupe is actually designed by Lorenzo Ramasciotto at Pininfarina, the same guy who designed the 550 Maranello.
