    Sooo while he's still kicking and throwing insults I would like to share some of the above with youse.

    1: When we first met at the '07 FNR in the ACT.
    He,for whatever reason,thought I would be impressed by a grainy and distorted phone video of him being pulled over and being accosted by .......guess who????
    All I could see were a shipload of blue and red flashing lights..some noize and not much else.
    This bloke is a utter were my thoughts..............nothing has changed!

    2: Driving back from the above event,I was driving north on the NE highway just leaving Guyra.
    There is a very long piece of road where you can see for about 2-4 Klms.
    In the distance I thought I could see a red dot..my eyesight was pretty good then.
    I thought...nah couldn't be,so I gave the 365 it's head...stealthily.
    At about 500 metres......yep it's Moretti,at about 110 miles per hour (sorry to all the police monitoring this site) I changed into 5th next to his drivers window!....I believe he did not see me coming...John?
    That started the first of our great drives together.
    We crossed the border at Wallangarra dong the speed limit...luckily,Mr Plod pulled us over for a breath test and license check.

    Well my encounter with John is brief…
    I thought he looked like Jon Voigt on the photo her on f chat, you know Angelina Jolie’s dad.. except he’s his track pant. ;)

    Then I saw him at Ferrari open day at the Waterloo dealership. No doubt I didn’t say hi as I was expecting someone resemble Angelina J… hmm

    just kidding :)

    Trip of a lifetime really, thanks again Simon :)

    I was NEVER a fan of the big V12s although I admired the engineering, until I drove Simon's 365 and 330 to Melbourne with Rob and Simon ..... what a trip !!!

    Raining, secondary roads at best and some decent velocity to enjoy Ferraris as they should be AND it cured me of my anxiety of driving RED Ferraris in the wet following my accident 20 years ago

    The big Ferrari V12s really are a joy to drive as GTs, safe and sure footed, inspiring confidence .... lovely cars

    It should be reading as a celebration of the many interesting,joyfull and bizarre moments you have brought into our various lives.

    Where would 'we' be without your beration of all the various Aussie states' policing forces?
    Where would 'we'be without the knowledge that 11 PSI is the norm for driving your high performance sportscar?
    Where would 'we' be not knowing what 1 week of constantly dressing in the same trackie pantset would be like given the remainder of your clothing is about a couple of hundred kilometres away?

    .............and lastly,until someone else chimes in,...where the foik would 'we' be without humming the Benny Hill theme song every; time we see you?

    Far from an obit was the reason I started this thread John.

    .................................and thanx for all the 'moments' you were/are able to share with us..............
