I think their V12s since the 599 have this. This will actually promote a little bit more agile feeling- an extreme version of this is a 3 wheel vehicle. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Here is my car - stock suspension and it has a lifter. And it can be adjusted lower than that if you want to. Image Unavailable, Please Login
So as an update to this thread I started… took the car off to Scotland, and as per stereotype the weather was terrible, and did not get on with the P Zero at all in those temperatures. So went for another trip to Bordeaux where it was an Indian summer in October and the P Zero worked great… however the tram line was horrendous.. so changed over to MPS4S tyres and what a revelation. Night and day and perfect for UK temperatures. At the same time had geometry done, and at the moment the car is where I want it.. when I started this thread I said the 2 F12’s I had driven were ‘floaty’, and I wanted more feel upfront. Well, the car that I bought didn’t feel like this at all, and maybe because I’ve been driving newer Ferraris with EPAS, going back to F12, I love the steering now, which before I thought was a bit frantic. So my original plan to fit TDF firmer springs and lower car and change tyres, I think at the moment I’m happy with the Geometry & Changing to Michelin MPS4S for now.. once again thank you all for your suggestions, forum has worked beautifully..
So what was the geometry change you landed on? More caster? Was your dealer down for that? interesting about the tires-mine has 4Ses on, but my experience with those is that the flexible sidewall they have is a detriment to handling feel even as it improves grip, I suppose if the pirellis are cold and not gripping they’d feel bad regardless of how communicative they are. Then again when I read tire reviews I come away with the impression that pirelli has sort of lost their way across the various categories. You know what’d be cool is if they made 200tw auto cross/track tires for these cars. The rears would essentially evaporate but it’d be nice while they last…
Even in race my car still bobs over the wrong kind of bump, though it is noticeably crashier over abrupt pavement changes like train tracks, so it is obviously more firm.
it is definitely floaty in wet and sport and bumpy road mode. race is the best but if you have rough asphalt it is almost unbearable.
