    First of all thank to all with answering my questions although I still have one more I can’t figure out. How do I know if I have CarPlay? Tried plugging into this and it did not work.
    In the meantime, waiting for some nice weather but this is what I have so far.

    when it arrived I had to bribe the wife. She didn’t even know I had bought it…the bag soften the blow for sure, she embraced it but made it clear no more cars…. For now

    Anyway, this is the where I plugged in the cable but nothing came up. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    That’s the correct plug in location. Check the options list in the frunk. If the car is equipped with CarPlay it will be listed there.

    you don't have CarPlay but you have bluetooth... its the same s**t.... no need for CarPlay

    Congratulations. 488 is a spectacular Ferrari, probably most car for money right now. Most of us use these cars when we need a break from phones, stereo etc. The radio ergonomics aren’t great but the driving experience is untouchable. I’m guessing you’re newer here. Don’t mind the guy with the Ron Jeremy avatar… and don’t ask me how I know who Ron Jeremy is!!!

    Great 488 !
    I have a 488 spyder in white.
    I bought a Hi-by hi res audio music player.
    It connects to the car with Bluetooth
    I upload my tunes there.
    Works great.

    I have a new 488 (no CarPlay option) and the Bluetooth will not connect to stream music or make any calls. Love it otherwise!!

    I was wondering if the new iPhone 17 IOS update has something to do with it! I plan to troubleshoot by using another phone to try and connect.

    When I plug in the USB the phone is not recognized, but does charge.

    Following this thread!! As good as the engine sounds I do want to stream music!!

    I did the update on mine and connected it fine. Everything worked even YouTube video when I was trying to find out why the CarPlay was not working… lol it’s crazy I owned a 2017 Huracan CarPlay was standard.I thought the same with the 488. But, on the other hand, my 2022 Evo has the touch screen and It’s annoying. I like tech but just the right amount.

    Crap. Was going to buy the 15 Pro tomorrow. Can someone test the Bluetooth connection not CarPlay in their F8 with the 15 Pro before I pull the trigger? Any F8ggots have the new phone?
