The tour will start next Thursday in Forte dei Marmi and will end on Saturday in Maranello. Not sure about how many cars will participate but I suspect it will be a nice group. My understanding is that there was a target of 40 cars, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with more than that. We shall see. I will participate and post some pictures. I am sure that quite a few Fchatters will also be there so please let us know and let's all meet there! Jacques
Some F40s have arrived ten days ago already, here at Milan Airport, from USA. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Begins actually Wednesday 27 September at 4 pm with arrival and check-in at the Augustus in Forte dei Marmi. One source claims that up to 100 F40s might participate....... we shall see. These here are known already: 80754, 80776, 85886, 86783. Marcel Massini
Just for the records, 31 years ago, June 1992, at the first F40 meeting in Mugello, Italy, there were 68 F40s participating. And I believe that at the F40 Parade in Silverstone, July 2012, about 60 F40s participated. No doubt fchatter Jonathan Tremlett from the UK has better/correct details. Marcel Massini
For what it is worth, I have the subscription number 70 and I am probably one of the latest to join the event as I was allowed to register two weeks ago following a cancellation.
Just to clarify, I got the invitation few months ago but couldn’t confirm before the deadline due to a conflicting agenda. When it became clear that it was possible for me to join the event, I tried and contacted the organisation which luckily said okay! One may argue that they wanted as many F40 as possible!
Do you know where Ferraris start from and where they come from on Saturday? What time will they arrive in Maranello?
Do you have any info about the tour they will do on Saturday? What city do they leave from and where do they arrive?
10.30 am from Fiorano (via hills) to Puianello to Castelvetro to Modena and back to Fiorano. Two hours total. Marcel Massini
Can't wait to see all these F40s in Maranello If anyone could update me (even privately, no worries) on the ETA at the factory that would be so great
