Thia season can't end soon enough!....what a useless calendar.....o well, let's hope Ferrari can do something decent this weekend...maybe Max will slip on a banana....

 

The rest of the season, including this weekend, is all "open testing" for 2024.

 

Its been that way since the restart after summer lol. New F1 is now 9 races with remaining as a test with small updates. Especially with a team as dominant as MaxBull now. Thanks cost cap joke of a budget. Cost Accounting Engineers Championship for all!

 

If Scuderia Ferrari can manage ( or mismanage...lol) to finish 2nd in the Constructor's Championship...I woyld be happy.

 

Nice looking! Ferrari needs a couple.... and for them to be on the design team again!

 

So six more races that have no meaning for the teams except as testing. Why not have the regular drivers only race on Sunday, and let reserve drivers and drivers who the teams would like to test, do all the free practice and qualifying. We could even mix and match drivers to other teams so that Toto could try Sainz and Williams could try Hamilton...etc. Once the WDC and constructor's championship is settled, freeze all the points and make that where everyone finishes the season. We could even have entire weekends where there was only one tire...all soft for example so we'd have lots of pit stops...or all test tires, passed out at random so no one would know what they are getting. Turn the race weekends into a cross between Survivor and Naked and Afraid.

 

Cost Cap F1 is a joke. This season is the worst so far. They need to increase the cap. RedBull will continue next year early on again and secure the title. Ferrari, Mercedes are not going to find 1.2 seconds to over take MaxBull in 5 months. They need 1 sec to pass and more to keep the lead. With minimal updates RedBull are beyond faster so far after Japan. Teams admitted shifting to next year before Spa. Thats a joke. Charging what for tickets lol??? F1 is a failure this year. Has nothing to do with RedBull. The system is broken when after effectively 8 or 9 races = ZERO real competition/growth and hope for change at the front. Great the "mid field is so competitive"................wow. Of course the 'saviour' will be 2026 regs lol

Max and 3 points from sprint and there is his title. He can sit out the GP. Absurd!

 

That's why i'm only gonna watch the next live race next year. This calendar is stupid enough with this amount of races there is.

 

I'm still not a fan of sprint races but now that there are some real points at stake the teams actually care and race and I'm ok with that.

Remember the first sprint race where the teams' goals were just not to damage the cars and basically did test laps? We came a long way from that.
