I just hope Canelo wins. The Charlo bros have big mouths.
Yep, Canelo did it easy. He didn't even sit down between rounds, they never had a stool there for him to sit. Obviously did that on purpose as they had no respect for Charlo and I don't blame them lol. Hopefully Charlo fights Aussie Tim Tszyu next for all the belts! Charlo said **** that, he wants Terence Crawford next when he was interviewed in the ring lol.
I saw that and yes!! Good on him lol. He would wipe the floor with Charlo anyway, no point wasting his time with him. I also read another few news articles where it Charlo states he's going to chase the big money fights now at tail end of his career lol He doesn't want to fight Tsyzu for those belts to become undisputed again because it won't draw PPV money like it would fighting Canelo or Crawford. Tsyzu wants those belts to make history, Charlo been there done that so he wants some big money fights now to get out of the game with some greenbacks in his skyrocket.
Do you feel Charlo is ducking Tsyzu? I still feel Charlo is a top fighter and is still a force in his own division, But for him to say he will chase the big money fights is a foolish comment. Even Crawford is laughing at him. Charlo need to re-earn the respect.
100% ducking him!! 100%!! They were supposed to fight in March 2023, but Charlo "broke his hand" in training early January from memory, so they didn't fight. So Tsyzu has been keeping active by defending his WBO interim title here in Australia waiting for the opportunity to fight Charlo. When they aligned again to fight for the undisputed belts Charlo ducked him again to fight Canelo lol. Obviously fought Canelo for the money, because if he fought Tszyu and lost, then there would no big money fight with Canelo after that or anyone else I think. So again, Tsyzu kept active and KO'd one of Charlo's old opponents Tony Harrison in the 9th round back in March and he KO'd Carlos Ocampo in the first round back in June to retain his title. When Charlo stepped in the ring the with Canelo the other day and the first round bell sounded, the WBO stripped Charlo of his title and elevated Tsyzu full WBO Super Welterweight Champion. Not how he wanted it of course, but he's got it now. Tsyzu is keeping active yet again and is defending this title this week here in Australia against Brian Mendoza. Tszyu has been crushing his opponents and I reckon he would stop Charlo, even though Canelo could not. Tsyzu has some killer bodyshots and his nickname is The Soul Taker lol. Here is the Ocampo KO back in June.
I dig Tsyzu. I enjoy his style. I was a fan of his father as well. I hope he continues to crush the division and earn his respect in the states.
I hope so, his old man was a weapon. Oddly enough, Kostya never trained Tim and has nothing to do with his boxing career. Tim has all his Dad's cornermen but, so he still has it pretty good and he is definitely crushing the opposition. I still remember this fight like it was yesterday.
Just found this online Armen, if they fight and Charlo beats Tsyzu, he then becomes 2x time undisputed champion. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agree, strange how it works. If he wins, becomes 2x undisputed. After that, what if he decides to drop the WBC belt or is forced to drop the belt, like in this instance. But he then fights to get his WBC title back and wins again. He becomes 3x undisputed then lol Almost a flawed system isn’t it? Lol
